What is slag?
Slag is a rocky component resulting
from extracting iron from iron ore in the steel
manufacturing process. This environment-friendly
powder has numerous uses such as material for cement
and construction engineering.
POSCO manufactures about 26 million tons of steel
annually and additionally a total of 12 million
tons of slag including 8 millions of blast-furnace
slag and 4 millions tons of steel slag from the
manufacturing process.
AJU GROUP will lead the industry in an environment
friendly manner by recycling slag.
